Mini-Festival of Chamber Music and Woodwind Ensemble Brasov, August 2-9 2016
This Mini-Festival was organized between the 2nd and 9th of August 2016 benefitting from the participation of a number of 32 young musicians under the guidance of 7 world class artists from the following countries: Japan, United Kingdom, Spain, Luxemburg, Rumania
Guest Professors:
- Gordon Hunt, principal oboist with the Philharmonia, oboe professor with the Guildhall Music and Drama London
- Ludovic Armin Cora, associated oboist with the National Orchestra of Metz, France
- Emil Visenescu, principal clarinetist with the „G. Enescu“ Philarmonia, clarinet professor with the National Music University of Bucharest
- Iulian Rusu, principal clarinetist with the Brasov Philharmonia, associated clarinet professor with the Music Faculty of Brasov, visiting professor at the Universities of Iasi and Targoviste
- Catherine Larsen Maguire, bassoon professor with the Conservatory of Rostock, visiting professor for orchestra conductors at the Arts University of Berlin.
Former principal bassoonist with the Comic Opera in Berlin. - Gödri Orbàn, principal bassoonist with the “G. Enescu” Philharmonic, bassoon professor with UNMB
- Marius Cisar, actor with the „Sica Alexandrescu“ Theater of Brasov, Director oft he „Reduta“ Cultural Centre of Brasov
A number of 585 lectures were delivered in all disciplines plus a number of 6 concerts during the 8 days of the mini-festival.

“Aurel Stroe” Cultural Center of Busteni: Anniversary concert dedicated to Professor Dr. Florenel Ionoaia, 40 years solo violin concerts, pedagogical and orchestra activity
August, 9th
“Patria” Hall, Brasov: Festival and Academy Closing Concert given by the academy students followed by a “Good-Bye” party.
Following this project, student Bianca Volgyesi from the Music High School of Targul Mures was awarded a Marigaux oboe to allow her to further her university studies.
The concerts were posted online, on the Facebook page of the Academy with a major international impact.
For example, the Opening Concert of the Academy and Mini-festival given by the professors involved in the project at the Black Curch of Brasov was watched at a global level by 250,000 music lovers.
