Participation Rules at Musica Kronstadt
COURSE FEES
1. Participants from Romania will contribute 500 EUR to attend the Musica Kronstadt courses. To participate in the Musica Kronstadt Courses:
A. Complete the online form;
B. Make a reservation.
TRANSPORT
2. For international participants, the Musica Kronstadt organizing committee provides two shuttle transports from Bucharest Otopeni Airport to Brașov and back for a total fee of 50 euros per person (total distance Airport-Brașov-Airport is 320 km for two trips).
3. During the courses, a shuttle bus will be available to transport participants free of charge for distances longer than 2 km, strictly for course-related activities and not for other purposes.
ACCOMPANIMENT
4. Each participant is allowed to present a maximum of 3 works of their choice to be accompanied by the pianist accompanist. The specialist teacher(s) are the only ones authorized to decide which piece(s) the participant will perform during the project.
ACCOMMODATION/MEALS
5. Accommodation and meals will be provided by the organizer at a student dormitory with decent standards. Three meals per day will be provided.
6. Vegetarian participants or those with special dietary requirements are requested to inform the Musica Kronstadt organizing committee via email one month before the course, but no later than that, at the following address: info(at)academyofmusic.eu
7. The organizing committee disclaims any responsibility for lack of prior information from participants in the situation mentioned in point 12.
8. Unjustified absence from breakfast, lunch, and dinner up to two times will result in the exclusion of the participant(s) from the meal program for the entire duration of the course.
9. Inappropriate/disrespectful behavior towards the project staff will result in the immediate exclusion of the participant(s) from the project without appeal.
10. Any complaints regarding meals and accommodation should be addressed STRICTLY to the MUSICA KRONSTADT Executive Committee. The organizer will resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
ORGANIZATION OF STUDY ROOMS, ARTISTIC/PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITIES
11. Each participant is entitled to 30 minutes of lessons per teacher daily for 5 days. If there are multiple teachers for the same specialty within the Academy, the lessons multiply by the number of actual teachers.
12. Chamber Music courses are not included in this schedule, with a maximum of 3 chamber music classes per teacher/ensemble being organized additionally.
13. The courses are open to all Musica Kronstadt participants, and entrance to all concerts is free for the academy’s participants and the music-loving public.
14. Musica Kronstadt provides participants with individual/chamber music study rooms with pre-established study times.
15. Musica Kronstadt organizes an opening concert by the teachers, which will take place at the Black Church in Brașov, where all participants are invited.
16. Musica Kronstadt organizes a closing concert where all participants will perform a solo or chamber recital. Decisions in this regard will be made by the specialist teachers following the MUSICA KRONSTADT competition.
17. The MUSICA KRONSTADT competition is exclusively for the Academy’s participants.
18. Each participant will receive an ID card, a course plan, and a brochure, providing detailed information about all subsequent course-related details.
LEGISLATIVE DETAILS
19. For minor participants, the organizers require a signed declaration from the parents confirming their consent for the minor to participate in the course.
20. Minors may be accompanied by parents/guardians, whose accommodation will be facilitated by the organizer at reasonable prices.
21. The Musica Kronstadt organizing committee disclaims any responsibility for any damage to participants’ instruments during the event.
22. Participants/Accompanying persons, in the case of minor participants, are directly responsible for all their personal belongings and the individuals they accompany.
23. In the case of photo or video postings on Facebook, the Academy’s website, appearances in national/international press through photo postings or interviews, or televised/radio broadcasts for promoting this Academy nationally/internationally, participants agree to transfer to the organizer all ownership rights to these recordings in which they appear or are mentioned indefinitely.
24. These media promotions are not for commercial profit! Their message is cultural and academic.
25. Musica Kronstadt fully ensures the premise of optimal study conditions, a course atmosphere, and artistic activities at a European level, emphasizing dialogue, creativity, and inventiveness.
26. According to legal provisions, the following are prohibited:
– Smoking;
– Consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors;
– Use of any toxic substances prohibited by law (see www.ana.gov.ro);
– Any form of incitement to racial, ethnic, or xenophobic hatred;
– Any form of antisocial behavior.

28. At the end of these courses, participants will receive certificates attesting to their participation in these courses.
